Made these for Christmas, really fast+easy+goodlooking!
You need: Polymer Clay (preferably white) Stamp Brown Acrylic Paint
1. Roll out a ball of clay and flatten 2. Press the stamp into it gently 3. Poke a hole in the top 4. Bake! 5. Paint white (if you used odd coloured clay like me ) 6. Add a wash of very watery brown paint and dab it off the raised areas for a distressed look. You can also add more layers into the recessed parts to darken it! 7. Let dry, (optional: paint a coat of matte/gloss sealer) 8. Wrap your pretty presents

i've never heard this- that it's not 'safe' to bake in the food oven. why is that? i've been doing that for years, and sure i let the oven air out after i'm done, but i've never thought it wasn't safe
I'm not sure, maybe contamination from the clay/fumes to the oven walls? And I've read somewhere that the fumes of burning clay are poisonous if you overbake it. But as long as you follow the baking instructions and air out the oven I think it should be alright (Been doing it for years too)
