Kaikara (pronounced KAH-ee-kah-rah) is the Banyoro Goddess of the harvest. The Banyoro of Uganda made offerings of millet to her before cutting their fields. Kaikara’s husband, Kalisa, was the God of the hunt. -Goddess A Day
This lovely pendant was named after Kaikara, and features two arching zebra stampings curving into a heart under a beautiful Chilli Pepper Swarovski Crystal (Gold, orange and red). The stone glitters like a piece of the african sun against layers of intricate brass filigree, beautifully aged to create the perfect look.
