Description
I've had that lovely enormous jewel just sitting on my desk for ages, and finally got down to using it, except that I ended up covering most of it -sigh. Anyhow, this is my first mixed piece with both silver and gold, what do you guys think? And cookies to anyone that knows where the name Sarabi's from, and what she's really queen of!
This makes me think of some Egyptian curio a rich Victorian gentleman would have lying around...

This lovely pendant was inspired by the iconic jewel-hued scarab beetles of ancient Egypt, and features an enormous glittering Heliotrope Swarovski Crystal (crystal shimmers with jewel tones of purple, violet, blue and aqua.) A stunning silver scarab queen perches atop it, her back inlaid with jewels and tiny golden gears.
